2019 Board President Robert Allen

  Robert is a Colorado native from Brighton. He has a BSME from the University of Missouri (Rolla) and has worked in various positions within the Public Service Company of Colorado/Xcel Energy for 40 years. Robert has been at the Pawnee Power Plant for over 30 years, and is currently the Operations Manager. His wife of more than 40 years is Sally.  Robert and Sally reside outside Wiggins and are active with church and hobbies. Sally enjoys sewing, quilting and genealogy,  Robert enjoys hunting, fishing and camping. 

 

2019 Board Treasurer Allison Miller

 Alison has served on the United Way Board of Directors since 2016. She grew up in Yuma, Colorado and graduated from Colorado State University with an Agricultural Business degree. After graduation, she moved to Brush where she resides with her husband, Clay Miller. Alison is an LPL Financial Advisor at Harris Financial Network, located in Fort Morgan.  

2019 Board Secretary Sonya Bass

Sonya is lifetime resident of Morgan County.  She was raised in Brush, graduating from Brush High School.  She then attended the University of Northern Colorado, where she obtained her nursing degree.  She is married to John, and they have three sons and two granddaughters.  She is the Chief Nursing Officer at Colorado Plains Medical Center, where she has worked for over 30 years.  Sonya has been a long time member of the United Way Board.  She is a lifetime member of the First Christian Church and is also on the Board for the Eben Ezer Foundation and the Eben Ezer Lutheran Care Center.  She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

2019 Board Member Bob Tolson

   Bob Tolson is pastor of Immanuel Evangelical Church in Fort Morgan. He and wife, Debra, have three children: Abigail, Melissa and Bobby. Bob was raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas. He served as Youth Pastor at Calvary Bible Church in Huntsville, Alabama before moving to Fort Morgan. 

2019 Board Member Susan Bailey

Susan Bailey, I was raised in Morgan County, born in Cheyenne, Wyoming and at the age of 18, married my high school sweetheart, Mike Bailey, who is the current Director of Facilities for Fort Morgan School District. I am the proud mother of two sons, Shawn, who resides in Carbondale, Colorado and Tyler, who we lost at the early age of 14 due to a tragic accident.  I currently reside in Brush, Colorado and have lived in Morgan County since my early years. I currently serve as Morgan County Clerk and Recorder for Morgan County Government as an elected official and have worked for Morgan County for 20 years. I previously worked for the State of Colorado in the 13th Judicial District Probation Department as both Support Services Manager and Useful Public Service Coordinator, prior to that I worked for Centennial Mental Health Center. I have worked in both the world of non-profit and government for most of my life.   My husband and I enjoy camping, riding motorcycles, family and serving our community.

2019 Board Member Wendy Fritzler

Wendy has enjoyed serving the community through Morgan County United Way and is a long-time board member. After graduating from Colorado State University Wendy began working at Bank of Colorado, Brush and has now been with them for the last 18 years. Wendy enjoys watching her daughter at all of her school events and extra-curricular activities. 

Executive Director- Chaundra Jacobs

Chaundra is the new Executive Director of United Way of Morgan county. She is home grown in Morgan County and graduated from Aims Community College. She previously worked at Centennial Mental Health center mentoring youth. She continues to work with youth at Kids at Their Best. She has hit the ground running and is thrilled to be a part of United Ways mission. She enjoys spending  time with her family, husband Jeremiah, and daughter Harper. Stop by the office and say "hello" to Chaundra some time.
